Freelance - Soft Skills Trainer

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Soft Skills Trainer to develop and deliver training programs focused on enhancing interpersonal, communication, leadership, and other soft skills. The Freelance Soft Skills Trainer will be responsible for creating engaging training materials, conducting interactive training sessions, and providing support to participants seeking to improve their professional competencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult education, instructional design, and facilitation, as well as expertise in a variety of soft skills areas.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Curriculum Development:

·        Develop comprehensive training curriculum covering a range of soft skills topics, including communication skills, interpersonal skills, leadership development, emotional intelligence, time management, problem-solving, teamwork, and conflict resolution.

·        Create engaging training materials, including presentations, role-plays, case studies, group activities, and self-assessment tools, to support learning objectives.

 

Training Delivery:

·        Facilitate interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars on soft skills topics for diverse audiences, including employees, managers, executives, and professionals from various industries.

·        Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods, such as lectures, group discussions, experiential learning activities, simulations, and peer coaching, to enhance learning outcomes.

 

Skill Assessment and Development:

·        Assess participants' current skill levels and training needs through pre-training assessments, surveys, and individual consultations.

·        Provide personalized feedback, coaching, and guidance to help participants identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to enhance their soft skills competencies.

 

Practical Application:

·        Provide opportunities for participants to practice and apply soft skills in real-world scenarios through role-plays, case studies, group exercises, and on-the-job assignments.

·        Offer constructive feedback, reflection opportunities, and debrief sessions to reinforce learning and encourage continuous improvement.

 

Feedback and Evaluation:

·        Solicit feedback from participants and stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, content, and delivery methods.

·        Monitor participant progress and measure learning outcomes through post-training assessments, evaluations, and performance metrics.

 

Continuous Improvement:

·        Stay updated on the latest trends, developments, and best practices in soft skills training, adult education, and professional development.

·        Incorporate new insights, tools, and techniques into training programs to enhance relevance, engagement, and impact.

 

Requirements:

·        Proven expertise in soft skills training and development, with comprehensive knowledge of communication, interpersonal dynamics, leadership principles, emotional intelligence, and other key soft skills areas.

·        Strong background in adult education, instructional design, or training delivery, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate learners of all levels.

·        Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

·        Experience developing and delivering soft skills training programs in corporate, academic, or organizational settings, preferably with a focus on professional development and career advancement.

·        Proficiency in creating training materials using multimedia tools, e-learning platforms, and interactive technologies.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess training needs, design customized learning solutions, and measure training effectiveness.

·        Self-motivated and able to work independently, with excellent time management and organizational skills.

·        Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules and deliver training sessions on-site or remotely as needed.

 

Education:

·        Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, psychology, organizational development, communication, or a related field.

·        Additional certifications or training in soft skills, adult education, or training delivery is mandatory.

 

Location:

·        Inspire Management Training Centre with occasional travel for on-site training sessions as required.

 

Note: This is a freelance position with flexible hours and project-based assignments. Compensation will be based on experience and scope of work.
